One Friday evening started as usual, I was about to take bath. I put some candles around, turned on light music, added some rose aroma oil into the water. The sound of water rushing into the tub filled the room, loud and comforting, wrapping me in a sense of privacy. A sudden splash of water against my leg made me jump, and I quickly turned off the tap. The bath had filled more than I meant it to, too late now for bubbles, but it didn’t matter. I eased myself into the tub, letting my body adjust to the heat. Once submerged up to my shoulders, I leaned back, letting the warmth soak into me. All the thoughts of the day, calls I needed to make, work waiting for me, were left outside the bathroom. This moment was mine. My hands rested on my thighs, and I was struck by how soft my skin felt. I traced slow patterns along them, curious, exploring, wondering if the rest of me felt the same.
“Was it the oil or new body cream I’d been using?”
Whatever it was, I shivered as my fingers drifted to my inner thighs. I let myself sink further into the sensation, fully present now. Despite the water, I became aware of a warmth that had nothing to do with the bath. It had been weeks since I’d allowed myself this kind of attention, not for lack of want, just a lack of time. Now, though, there was nothing stopping me.
My other hand joined in, moving slowly, deliberately. There was a quiet tug-of-war in my mind, part of me wanting release, the other wanting to draw it out for as long as possible. My fingers moved in gentle, rhythmic circles as my eyes fell closed and my body shifted lazily in the water.
Still, it wasn’t enough.
There was a deeper ache, something more insistent, and I knew my hands wouldn’t satisfy it this time. Suddenly I remembered about my recent purchase, the website was saying it was fully waterproof… “So, let’s test it” I told myself and brought it into the water with me.
I ran my fingers along it, feeling a flicker of anticipation. On impulse, I lifted it to my lips, brushing it there for a moment, almost teasing myself.
Eyes closed again, it became easier to imagine I wasn’t alone. The mix of sensations like slight hesitation, growing excitement, and that steady, undeniable desire. All blurred together until everything I could focus on was how much I wanted to let go.
I lowered it beneath the water and guided it slowly, teasing for just a moment before pressing it closer. A soft sound escaped me as I moved with it, my body responding instinctively, finding a rhythm.
Still… I wanted more.
When I switched it on, even at its lowest setting, the sensation pulled a sharp breath from me. I adjusted it, finding the setting I loved most - not steady, not predictable, but a slow, rising pulse that deepened with each wave.
And with that, my thoughts slipped.
Faces came and went, an ex, another, someone from a night out… And then… Without meaning to, her. My co-worker.
The feeling shifted. It wasn’t just the toy anymore. It was her, her hands, her touch, the way she might move, the way she might know exactly what I needed. The water around me faded, replaced by something softer, warmer, more intimate.
Her presence filled my thoughts completely now, her dark curls, the shape of her under those jumpers, the way my eyes always seemed to follow her without permission.
By then, there was no stopping it.
The tension built quickly, tightly, until it broke all at once, sending a rush through me that left me trembling. The sensation became almost too much, and I pulled the toy away, letting it hum quietly beneath the water as I tried to catch my breath.
When I finally opened my eyes again, minutes later, I could still see the faint tremor in my legs beneath the surface, the water rippling gently around me.
